Jana Fodstad works primarily with analog photography, exploring body, identity, and self-presentation. Their practice moves between intimacy and distance, with a focus on the gaze and the tensions it creates. Working from a queer perspective, Fodstad engages with the act of looking as both a personal and collective experience. They are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Art Direction. Fodstad has a book coming out this summer called I´m not scared of god, I´m scared of men.
